We’ve been compiling a list of local businesses that sell battery-powered blowers — the kind that’s not a nuisance and health hazard to you and your neighbors.

The success of these businesses in selling these machines will be the key to Lower Merion’s switch to electric.

Use of gas generators to run corded electric leaf blowers or charge electric leaf blower batteries will not be allowed.

Applies to all residents, commercial landscapers, contractors, and property maintenance personnel, on all properties within the Township.

The use of battery-powered leaf blowers is allowed all year. Rakes are also welcome in Lower Merion Township.
