In November 2025, Township commissioners voted to make Lower Merion the first in Pennsylvania to prioritize our health and by phasing out the use of dangerous gas-powered leaf blowers. 

The first phase began on June 1, 2026. LM is now becoming cleaner and quieter for all who live and work here.
